We buy companies for our client portfolios – not ‘the market’; and focus on people much more than numbers. Our search for the best ideas is aided by our total flexibility; concentrating on relatively few growth opportunities – both capital and income. We have a clear multi-factor discipline to determine a Competitive Advantage, within our portfolios.
Our portfolios are registered as hedge funds, which is a distinct advantage for our clients. While we will not employ derivatives of any kind, this gives us the opportunity to use moderate leverage to enhance income, or to protect capital under adverse market conditions, by investing in selective short positions.
Our ‘founding’ clients are exceptional in their accomplishments; are true investors; and we will learn with them, and from them – as we build superior portfolios for them.
